From "yes" to "I do," we handle every detail
Planning a destination wedding in Maui from the mainland can feel like a lot. That is exactly why this service exists. We start with a consultation to understand your vision, style, and budget, then take over the logistics. Venue scouting, vendor hiring, contract negotiations, design concepts, guest travel coordination, welcome bags, rehearsal dinners, day-of execution. Your dedicated planner is available by phone, email, and video call throughout the process. You stay in the loop without carrying the weight. Show up, feel the trade winds, marry the person you love.

What You Get
Your wedding should feel like the best day of your life — not the most stressful.
Most couples who hire us for full planning live on the mainland. They have jobs, busy lives, and roughly zero connections on Maui. That gap between "we want to get married in Hawaii" and "here is the actual plan" is where we come in. We are not selling a template. Every wedding we plan starts from scratch because every couple has different priorities, different budgets, and different ideas about what a good party looks like.
Redd has been doing this long enough to know which vendors return calls and which ones ghost you two weeks before the wedding. That kind of local knowledge is hard to get from a Google search. When you work with our team, you get someone who has walked every Maui wedding venue worth considering, who knows which caterers can handle 150 guests on a beach without a hiccup, and who has backup plans for the backup plans.
We start with a free consultation. This is a real conversation, not a sales pitch. We want to know what matters to you. Are you the couple who cares most about the food? The flowers? The music? Do you want bare feet in the sand or a formal ballroom? Once we understand your priorities and your budget, we put together a detailed proposal. If you like what you see, we get to work.
The first phase is venue selection. Maui has everything from private estates in upcountry Kula to open-air restaurants on the ocean in Kapalua. We narrow the list based on your guest count, style, and budget, then schedule tours (in person or virtual) so you can see the spaces before committing. We handle all contract negotiations. Venues on Maui often have specific requirements around noise, setup times, and preferred vendor lists, and we know those details before they become problems.
Next comes vendor hiring. Photographers, florists, caterers, DJs, officiants, hair and makeup artists, rental companies. We have working relationships with the best people on the island. Not a generic "preferred vendor list" that anyone with a website can join. These are people we have worked alongside at actual weddings and trust to deliver. We coordinate all the contracts, deposits, and timelines so you are not juggling fifteen email threads.
Once the big pieces are locked in, we move into design. This covers everything visual: color palette, table settings, ceremony arch style, linens, signage, lighting. We build a design concept with mood boards and specific product selections so you can see exactly what your wedding will look like before you fly to Maui. If you want tropical floral design with king protea and monstera leaves, we will show you what that looks like on a round table versus a long farm table. If you want lanterns hanging from a banyan tree, we will source the lanterns, test the rigging, and make sure the tree can handle it.
We also handle the stuff nobody thinks about until it is too late. Transportation between the hotel and the venue. Welcome bags for your guests who just got off a five-hour flight. Rehearsal dinner logistics. Day-after brunch reservations. Marriage license requirements for the state of Hawaii. Weather contingency plans for outdoor ceremonies. These are not small details. They are the things that either go smoothly and nobody notices, or go wrong and everyone remembers.
We are on the ground in Maui the entire week leading up to your wedding. Final walkthroughs with every vendor. Setup coordination. Last-minute adjustments because the couple decided they want the escort cards on the other table. On the day itself, our team runs the show. We manage the timeline, cue the processional, handle vendor meals, solve problems you never know existed, and make sure you and your guests just have a good time.
This is not the kind of planning where we hand you a binder and wish you luck. We are there, physically present, from setup to sparkler exit.
Maui destination weddings have specific logistical challenges that mainland planners do not encounter. Getting rental furniture to a remote beach requires a specific type of truck and a permit. Some venues on the west side of the island lose cell service after 5 PM when towers get overloaded by tourists. Certain flowers will wilt in twenty minutes if the ceremony is at a south-facing beach in July. We know these things because we have dealt with them firsthand, not because we read about them.
We also coordinate with your guests. For destination weddings, your guests need travel information, hotel block details, activity recommendations, and a clear schedule. We build a wedding website or printed guide that covers all of this, including restaurant suggestions, snorkeling spots, and which road to Hana stops are actually worth it.
If you are still early in the process and want to understand what a Maui wedding costs before committing, take a look at our Maui wedding costs breakdown. It covers real numbers for venues, vendors, and travel so you can plan with actual data instead of guesswork.
Full planning is the right fit if you want to hand off the logistics and focus on the decisions that matter to you. Most of our full-planning clients are couples who live outside Hawaii, have 30 to 150 guests, and want a wedding that feels personal and polished without having to project-manage it themselves from 2,500 miles away. We also work with couples who live on Maui but simply do not have the time or interest in coordinating everything on their own.
The result is a wedding that looks and feels like you, in one of the most beautiful places on earth, without the stress of building it yourself. That is the whole point.
